Apologies ... A Medically Induced, but Temporary, Hiatus from Utah Money Watch

I'm not sure what I was thinking. Honestly, I probably wasn't thinking at all (metaphorically, at least).

But earlier today I had corrective surgery on my left eye to remove a cataract. (Yeah, that's me with a temporary eye patch taped over my eye.)

And I'll have essentially the same surgery tomorrow on my right eye.

What I didn't expect, however, is that Doctor's Orders would preclude "Screen Time" for 24 hours after surgery — explicitly no computer screens, smartphone screens, or tablet screens. (Thankfully, said instructions did NOT preclude large screen TVs. Yay!)

So, yeah, I know, I'm breaking one of my MD's orders this very second as I type this brief piece.

But ... I just wanted to take a minute or two to let you know why Utah Money Watch will not be publishing anything new for a few days ... besides this personal missive. You know: Dr's Orders.

P.S. Apparently I came through the surgery with the proverbial Flying Colors, which is awesome! Isn't modern medicine amazing?!?!?!
